
IEN - Instytut Energetyki

IEN is a state-owned R&D Centre with more than 500 employees, and 25 people working on SOFC technology at the level of components, sub-systems and complete power units. IEN has a leading position in Poland as a institute providing expertise and technology to power industry ranging from micro-cogenerators up to large stationary power plants.
IEN (established in 1954) has been active in SOFC field for more than 10 years. Work in that field is done simultaneously at the Ceramic Department CEREL in south of Poland, and in Thermal Processes Department in Warsaw.
